Yair Hochner

Yair Hochner was born en Kfar Sava, Israel. With the encouragement of notable directores Keren Yedaya and Tomer Heiman, Yair set out to direct his script, Good Boys (Yeladim Tovim), which received acclaim as the Winner of OUTstanding Emerging Talent Award Outfest (2005); Winner of the Showtime Vanguard Award NewFest; Jurado del Premio Característica de la Película de imagen+nación International LGBT en el Festival de Cine de n Montreal; Winner of: mejor Actor, mejor Actriz, mejor Director, mejor Cinematografía -Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival; y Winner, Best Israelí Película, Eilat Festival Internacional De Cine. Yair taught cinema to high school students for five years en Netania. Currently he writes fim reviews for Seret (Película), Israel's leading cinema sitio. He has written articles for the Cinematheque Magazine, as well as short stories for the Tel Aviv newspaper and Camera Obscura magazine. Yair Hochner is the artistic director of the TLVFest, the Tel Aviv International LGBT en el Festival de Cine de since co-founding it en 2006.
