"VINOTINTO -- THE MOVIE" tells the story of the venezuelan soccer team from their early failure to qualify for the 2002 and the 2006 World Cup to their surprising performances in the qualifying round for the 2010 tournament in South Africa. The film documents the efforts of the Vinotinto to achieve their dream against all odds and the transformation of the players, the team's head coach, and all the country that occurs along the way. We accompany the venezuelan underdog through the qualifying round, competing against the best teams in South America, including World Cup champions Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil and we join the euphoria of the fans as they motivate the players with their chant of "Yes, we can! Yes, we can!
