Planeta Krapton pronto va a explotar. Con la esperanza de salvar a su pequeño hijo de perdición, Gel-lo de los cohetes a la Tierra con él. Allí, el niño, que ahora se llama Clark aka Superbman, es la adoptada por Ma y Pa Cant. Clark crece y se convierte en un reportero del Diario Cometa. Bajo el comando del editor-en-jefe, Perry Tizón, Clark trabaja con ace reportero, Lois Cojo y cub reportero, Pepe Olson. Juntos descubren un complot siniestro por el mal Rex Ruthor para destruir el mundo.
