Cuenta la historia de una comunidad kolla que se encuentra a tres mil metros sobre el nivel del mar, aislada en las montañas salteñas y muy cerca de la frontera argentino-boliviana. Allí, en una zona declarada inhóspita, quinientos habitantes enfrentan condiciones de vida durísimas en un lugar donde la única presencia del Estado argentino es la escuela. It tells the story of a Kolla community that is three thousand meters above sea level, isolated in the mountains of Salta and very close to the Argentine-Bolivian border. There, in an area declared inhospitable, five hundred inhabitants face harsh living conditions in a place where the only presence of the Argentine State is the school.
