Mack Sennett

Mack Sennett

Mack Sennett (nacido Michael Sinnott, 17 de enero de 1880 – 5 de noviembre de 1960) fue un Canadiense-Americana de la película el actor, director y productor, y el jefe del estudio, conocido como el 'Rey de la Comedia'. Nacido en Melbourne, Quebec, en 1880, comenzó en el cine en la Biograph Company de Nueva York, y más tarde abrió Keystone Studios en Edendale, California, en el año 1912. Keystone poseía la primera completamente cerrado película de la etapa, y Sennett se hizo famoso como el autor de la bufonada rutinas tales como el pastel-lanzar y auto-persigue, como se ve en la piedra angular de los Policías de las películas.
