El destino fue acercando a Laura Salvador y Laura Rubio, las Lauris, cuando ambas comenzaron a ayudar a otras personas que pretendían saber cómo funcionaba la adopción y las dificultades de un sistema que parecía no tener en cuenta sus deseos y prioridades. A partir de sus intercambios, el film expone cómo las Lauris desarrollan una vocación de servicio para luchar contra la desinformación y soledad con las que son destratados los postulantes. Fate brought Laura Salvador and Laura Rubio, the Lauris, closer together when they both began to help other people who wanted to know how adoption worked and the difficulties of a system that seemed not to take their wishes and priorities into account. Based on their exchanges, the film exposes how the Lauris women develop a vocation of service to fight against the misinformation and loneliness with which the applicants are mistreated.
