Sammo Hung interpreta a Carnicero Wing, el discípulo más patán del legendario héroe Wong Fei Hung, que se queda al cargo de su escuela cuando éste se marcha en busca de hierbas medicinales. Los problemas no tardan en llegar cuando la escuela rival de los Cinco Dragones lo acusa injustamente de la muerte de la ahijada de su líder. Wing es rescatado en el último momento por sus camaradas de armas y un vagabundo borracho, sólo para descubrir que su propio hermano ha sido asesinado a modo de represalia. Con Fei Hung de viaje, Wing decide entrenarse a las órdenes del enigmático vagabundo con el objetivo de limpiar su nombre y tomarse su debida venganza contra el clan de los Cinco Dragones.
