Donald Calthrop

Donald Calthrop

Donald Esme Clayton Calthrop (11 de abril de 1888 – 15 de julio de 1940) fue un inglés escenario y actor de cine. Calthrop hizo su primera aparición en escena a los dieciocho años de edad. Su primera película fue El Gay Señor Quex publicado en 1917. Actuó como el personaje del título en el exitoso musical de El Niño en el mismo año. Luego apareció en el 63 películas, entre 1916 y 1940, incluyendo cinco películas dirigidas por Alfred Hitchcock. Murió en Eton, Berkshire, de un ataque al corazón mientras estaba filmando Principales Barbara (1941).
